Peter Podlogar is a multi-adventure guide with a strong background in both business and economics and elite-level professional sport. A former member of the Slovenian National Snowboard Team, Peter spent eight years competing internationally as a professional freestyle snowboarder, representing Slovenia at the highest levels of the sport.
Growing up in Bled, one of Slovenia’s most iconic alpine regions, Peter developed a deep connection to nature and an active outdoor lifestyle from an early age. His passion spans a wide range of adventure disciplines, including cycling, hiking, rafting, climbing, and alpine exploration — always guided by a strong respect for the natural environment.
Peter’s snowboarding career took him across the globe, exposing him to diverse cultures, landscapes, and high-performance environments. These experiences now inform his approach as a guide: calm, confident, safety-focused, and deeply attuned to each guest’s abilities and interests. Despite traveling extensively, Peter remains firmly convinced that Slovenia offers some of the most beautiful and varied outdoor experiences in the world.
After concluding his competitive snowboarding career, Peter committed fully to Adventure Slovenia, where he brings professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for movement and nature to every journey.
