Adventure Slovenia — Terms & Conditions

Valid for all Adventure Slovenia journeys. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice. The Terms & Conditions in force at the time of your departure shall apply.
1. Payment & Booking Conditions
1.1 Reservation Fee & Acceptance of Terms
A non-refundable reservation fee of €300 per person is required to secure your booking. Payment of this fee—together with confirmation via contract, voucher, or booking form—constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, which the traveller confirms having read and understood.
1.2 Deposits & Final Payment
To confirm a booking, a 30% deposit of the total trip cost is required.
Unless otherwise stated, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to arrival.
If full payment is not received by the specified deadline, Adventure Slovenia reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled, and cancellation fees as outlined in Section 3 will apply.
1.3 Payment Methods
All payments are made in EUR (€) via:
- Bank transfer
- Secure online payment systems (e.g. Flywire or equivalent)
Any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the client.
2. Travel Insurance & Safety
2.1 Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include:
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- Personal belongings and baggage
Adventure Slovenia and its suppliers strictly adhere to cancellation policies and are unable to make exceptions for uninsured circumstances.
2.2 Safety & Emergency Support
Adventure Slovenia works with trusted local and international partners and strongly recommends that clients ensure access to global emergency assistance services throughout their journey.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees per person based on written notice:
- 121+ days prior: €300 (non-refundable reservation fee)
- 61–120 days: 25% of total trip cost
- 31–60 days: 50% of total trip cost
- 0–30 days: 100% of total trip cost
3.1 Future Travel Credit
For cancellations made 61 or more days prior to departure, penalties may be issued as a Travel Credit, valid for 12 months from the cancellation date.
3.2 Force Majeure
If travel is not possible due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to border closures, government restrictions, or similar events), Adventure Slovenia will offer a Travel Credit equal to funds paid.
3.3 Travel Credit Conditions
- Non-transferable and non-refundable
- Valid for 12 months from date of issue
- Cannot be used toward initial deposit
- Once applied to a new booking, becomes non-refundable
4. Changes to Bookings
4.1 Client-Initiated Changes
Changes are subject to availability and may incur:
- A minimum €300 change fee
- Supplier-imposed penalties
- Adjustments in pricing
Only one date change per booking is generally permitted.
4.2 Private & Tailor-Made Journeys
All Adventure Slovenia journeys are bespoke. Any modifications after confirmation are handled on a case-by-case basis and may impact availability, pricing, and logistics.
5. Itinerary Changes by Adventure Slovenia
Adventure Slovenia reserves the right to:
- Modify routes, accommodations, or activities
- Substitute services with equal or higher quality alternatives
This may occur due to weather conditions, safety considerations, operational requirements, or supplier constraints.
5.1 Force Majeure
Adventure Slovenia may cancel or modify trips due to:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather conditions
- Government restrictions (including lockdowns or travel limitations)
- Other unforeseen circumstances beyond control
In such cases, a Travel Credit will be issued.
Adventure Slovenia is not responsible for independent arrangements such as flights or external bookings.
6. Pricing & Inclusions
The final price is confirmed in your official proposal and booking confirmation.
Unless explicitly stated, the following are not included:
- International or domestic flights
- Visa costs and entry fees
- Meals and beverages not listed
- Optional activities or excursions
- Personal expenses
6.1 Price Adjustments
Prices may be adjusted after confirmation due to:
- Exchange rate fluctuations
- Increases in fuel, transport, or supplier costs
If a price increase exceeds 10%, clients may cancel within 48 hours of notification without penalty.
7. Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for:
- Holding a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
- Obtaining all required visas and permits
- Meeting health and vaccination requirements
Final travel documents will be issued 7–10 days prior to departure.
8. Accommodation Standards
All accommodations are described according to local classification standards.
Standards may vary by country and are not always directly comparable internationally.
9. Traveller Code of Conduct & Responsibility
By submitting your deposit, you agree to the following:
You confirm:
- You have selected a journey appropriate to your fitness, health, and abilities
- You do not have any condition that could pose a risk to yourself or others
- You hold all required travel documentation
- You have reviewed all pre-departure information
- You will communicate special requests at least 30 days prior to travel
You will:
- Respect local laws, customs, and cultural sensitivities
- Follow environmental guidelines and responsible travel practices
- Respect the privacy and experience of fellow travellers
You understand:
- Group travel requires flexibility and compromise
- Guides may adapt plans in the best interest of safety and group experience
- Some journeys take place in remote areas with limited medical access
- Weather and external conditions are beyond our control
You agree to:
- Follow all guide and partner instructions
- Use safety equipment when required
- Avoid unsafe behavior (e.g. phone/headphone use during activities)
- Consume alcohol responsibly
- Accept responsibility for any damages caused
You acknowledge:
- Activities such as swimming are undertaken at your own risk
- Certain items (including drones or hazardous goods) may not be permitted
Adventure Slovenia reserves the right to remove any traveller whose behavior or condition negatively impacts the group. No refund will be issued in such cases.
10. Release & Limitation of Liability
Travel—particularly active and nature-based experiences—involves inherent risks.
Adventure Slovenia is not liable for:
- Physical exertion or activity-related risks
- Weather and natural conditions
- Road, trail, or terrain conditions
- Transport-related risks
- Accidents or injuries
- Political instability or unforeseen events
- Equipment failure
- Limited access to medical care in remote areas
Participation may require signing a Release of Liability. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the trip.
Adventure Slovenia is not responsible for costs not included in the trip price, including transport or accommodation required to reach the start or end of the journey.
11. Baggage & Personal Belongings
Adventure Slovenia is not responsible for:
- Loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings
- Loss of passports or travel documents
Guests are advised to:
- Pack carefully and avoid unnecessary valuables
- Properly label and secure all luggage
- Be aware that luggage may not always be immediately accessible
12. Conduct, Safety & Harassment Policy
Adventure Slovenia is committed to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind
- Verbal abuse or inappropriate conduct
- Behavior that disrupts the group experience
Such actions may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund.
13. Additional Conditions
- Swimming and similar activities are undertaken at your own risk
- Guests are responsible for any damages caused to property or accommodation
- Drone usage may be restricted due to legal and safety considerations
- Adventure Slovenia is not responsible for typographical or publication errors
14. Media & Usage Rights
Clients grant Adventure Slovenia the right to use photographs, video recordings, and testimonials for promotional and marketing purposes, unless declined in writing prior to travel.
15. Final Acknowledgment
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have:
- Read and understood these Terms & Conditions
- Accepted the Traveller Code of Conduct
- Agreed to the Release & Limitation of Liability
Failure to comply may result in removal from the journey without refund.
